The Giants are one of many teams on the outsode of the playoffs looking in. With the two teams directly in front of them, the Cowboys and Eagle, both winning this week, the Giants are under incredible pressure to keep up. Of course, the Redskins have to be on the list of teams you want to face when you need a win. Denver thought the same thing in Week 10, and they lost, 27-17. What the 'Skins don't have is the strong running game they had before they lost their to two backs. What the Giants don't have is the strong defense they had all of last season. They haven't held a team to under 20 points since Week 5 against Oakland. Since that game, the end of their 5-0 start, they've gone 2-6, beating only Dallas and Atlanta, and getting crushed by Denver along the way. The Giants have finally found their passing game, though, and that should carry them to a win.

MNF Preview - Week 14
Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers
Spread: Cardinals, -3.5
o/u: 44.5
When these teams faced off in Week 1, they were two different teams. The 49ers were starting a different QB, and the Cards receivers, their best weapon, were all banged up. Now the Cards have a healthy offense, and the 49ers returned Alex Smith to a starting position. The healthy receivers have helped the Cards more than Alex Smith has helped the 49ers, though. He may have brought Vernon Davis and the passing game into the forefront, but he hasn't brought wins. He also can't solve the consistency issues on defense. Those are issues the Cards will be able to exploit, and with the win this week, they lock-up the NFC West.

MNF Preview - Week 12
New England Patriots @ New Orleans Saints
Spread: Saints, -2
o/u: 51.5
The Pats are looking like the team of old, with one exception: that Sunday night game against the Colts a few weeks ago. They had a lead, and they couldn't hold it. Manning helped expose the Pats scondary, and Drew Brees has been finding passing lanes better than Peyton all year. The score will be high in this one, but I don't think it will be as close as the Pats-Colts nailbitter was.
Pick: Saints 38 - Patriots 24

MNF Preview - Week 11
Tennessee Titans @ Houston Texans
Spread: Texans, -4
o/u: 48.5
The Vince Young Experiment comes to Houston this week, as the struggling, inconsistent Texans look to finally be consistent. They may have finally won three-in-a-row in Weeks 6, 7, and 8, but they followed that up with a 3 point loss to the Colts going into the bye week. And just like I predicted, Steve Slaton is the starter again. The fumblemonster will have to face a team on three straight wins whose D has improved greatly after their own bye in Week 7. Vince Young and the option offense have opened up the field for Chris Johnson, and hes been taking full advantage of it. Thats gonna be hard for the Texans to stop, and they fall back to .500 after this week.

MNF Preview - Week 10
Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

The good news: The Brady Quinn Era is back! The bad news: The Browns are on Monday Night Football. I guess the schedule-makers felt the Browns would be better than the Bengals this year, since this looks like it would have been a perfect week to put Pats-Colts on Monday, Bengals-Steelers on Sunday night, and bury this game at 1 on Sunday. But no, now we have to suffer. Thanks schedule-makers. Thanks for nothing.

The Saints are still the NFC's only undefeated team after a big comeback win over the Dolphins last week. For the Falcons, Matt Ryan suddenly looks like hes hitting a sophmore slump, throwing 5 picks in the last two games. That looks even worse when added to the fact that Saint Darren Sharper leads the league in INTs. But really, these two fact from ESPN's preview of the game are all you need to know:

MNF Preview - Week 7
Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins

It seems like every year the Eagles have a game where they completely melt down, and everyone thinks Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb should be run out of town. Last week was that week. Now they can get back to winning. This week, they take on the Redskins as the first Redskins opponent with a win. This is the first week Sherman Lewis will be calling the plays, and the plays will be relayed through another assistant Jason Campbell, because Lewis doesn't know the calls for motion and blitz pick-up. I can't imagine thats going to be a good thing. I'd hope they've practiced doing that, but the Redskins will probably finish the game with way too many delay of game penalties.

MNF Preview - Week 6
Denver Broncos @ San Diego Chargers
Spread: San Diego, -3.5

The facade is starting to crack on the San Diego Charges. People are starting to see them as the overrated team they have been for years. And yet they are still a 3 point favorite against the undefeated Broncos, who have one of the leagues best defenses. Sure, its MNF, and maybe the Chargers will pick it up for this one. But for the Broncos, who really want to position themselves as the team to beat in the AFC West, this game is just as important. The outcome of this game could have repercussions throughout this division for the rest of the season.
Pick: Broncos 24 - Chargers 13

MNF Preview - Week 4
Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings
Spread: Vikings, -3.5

This is it, the game we've all been waiting for. This is the first time Brett Favre will have to play his old team, the Packers. And its on Monday Night Football, a stage Favre has always performed well on. Overall, I think Green Bay has the better team, but with Adrian Peterson being better than everyone else on the field, a pumped up Favre, and home field advantage, I have to give this to the Vike.

MNF Preview - Week 3
Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys

After opening their new home with a loss last week, the Cowboys want to put a win in the record books. And they need it, too, since the Giants and Eagles are looking to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the division. The Panthers have put together a poor offense with a strong pass D that can't stop the run. Thats good knews for a hungry Dallas team that put up 251 yards against the Giants. Even if Marion Barber can't go, Dallas has a talented group of backs that can put up big numbers.

Last week the Dolphins put up 7 points in a loss, and the Colts put up 14 in a win. This week, the Wildcat offense comes to Monday Night Football. And if it was being run by the Miami Hurricanes, it might win the game. But its being run by the Dolphins. And after taking averyone by surprise last year, its not folling anyone this year. A Colts D revamped from last year will keep it in check, while the offense will be hamped only by the loss of Anthony Gonzalez and Hank Baskett's inexperience in the system.

MNF Preview - Week 1
Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

If you look at the headlines, you would think the Oakland Raiders are the only team with more problems than the Bills right now. They fired their offensive coordinator a little over a week ago. Their QB isn't all that good. TO missed a lot of time in the preseason. TO isn't happy with the no-huddle offense. After starting 5-0 last year, head coach Dick Jauron got a contract extension, then proceeded to go 2-9 the rest of the way, including 0-6 in the division. On the other side of the field isdivision rival New England, the most successful franchise of the last decade. Tom Brady is healthy. Bill Belichick is still head coach. They're hungry to get back in the playoffs. Buffalo doesn't stand a chance.
