Saturday College Football Upsets: 5 Penn State, 6 Cal, 18 FSU, 22 UNC, 25 Washington all lost to unranked opponents. No. 9 Miami also lost to 11 Virginia Tech.
The St Louis Cardinals finally clinched the NL Central, with a win over the Colorado Rockies. The LA Dodgers also clinched a playoff berth. [Yahoo Sports]

Boston Bruin Phil Kessel has finally been traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The trade proves that NHL talent evalution is absurd, as Boston got two first-round picks and a second-round pick in return. Had Kessel been signed as an unrestricted free agent, Boston would have gotten a first-, second-, and third-round pick instead. [HockeyJournal.com]
